Road To Nowhere: The British Explosion
Single colour screen print on 170gsm matte art paper
H60 x W60cm
1967 - the Summer of Love and possibly one of the greatest years for British music when British bands including The Beatles continued their invasion of the States. Notable singles released in this year included Penny Lane by The Beatles (a double A side along with Strawberry Fields Forever), Waterloo Sunset by The Kinks, Itchycoo Park by The Small Faces and Arnold Layne the debut single by Pink Floyd.
Dorothy’s new Road To Nowhere range is a collection of screen prints that imagines the titles of much loved songs and albums as the cities, towns, and places signposted on directional road signs.
We'll be adding more road signs to the range over the coming months so keep checking the site for new additions.
