Like many degree courses all over the country students and staff at LJMU are unable to access their university building, so were struggling to do this themselves.

B5, full colour, perfect bound publication produced by Graphic Design & Illustration, Liverpool School of Art & Design, Liverpool John Moores University.
Featuring graphic artwork from students, researchers and guests of the course addressing two contrasting yet complementary themes.
Inspired by author and broadcaster Emma Warren’s book Make Some Space the theme Document Your Culture is a provocation to tell the cultural stories we have a personal association with. Whilst Someone Somewhere explores the relationship of the individual to official modes of communication and in particular the materiality of the visual forms this takes.
Drawing these two themes together is an essay by designer Craig Oldham Creative Director of Rough Trade Books.
