After 6 weeks of cups going head-to-head in polls across our social media, we've finally found the winner of our 2026 Alternative World Cups tournament!
If you hadn't already guessed, our fan favourite Scotland has been crowned champion and takes home the coveted Golden Spoon. 🥄🏆
From start to finish, this cheeky contender proved themselves invincible. They even took a tumble off the shelf at one point, only to come out completely unmarked and in the same form they entered the competition in. Impressive, right?
Although Scotland dominated the tournament, they faced some tough competition along the way. In the final, England pushed them right to the end, losing out by just a handful of votes in the closest match of the tournament. It’s fair to say England were respectable runners up who brought plenty of spice throughout.
For now, the cups have returned to the cupboard, patiently waiting for the kettle to boil and are adjusting back to reality after a non-stop summer of competition.
