Brutalist Love Blueprint - Exclusive Edition for Barbican, London

A new screen print celebrating brutalism, designed by Dorothy for the Barbican and available to buy exclusively from the Barbican shop.

Our Brutalist Love Blueprint maps out the history of brutalist architecture on the footprint of the Barbican Estate.

Featuring over 150 influential architects, significant buildings, events and publications pivotal to the evolution of this architectural movement.

From the pioneering works of Bengt Edman (Villa Göth) and Le Corbusier (Unité d’Habitation in Marseilles) to post-war projects by architects such as Alison and Peter Smithson (Hunstanton School) and Ernő Goldfinger (Trellick Tower) to more recent schemes championing brutalism by Zaha Hadid (Innsbruik Ski Jump) and David Chipperfield (The Hepworth Wakefield)

Central to this story is the history of the Barbican. From Chamberlin, Powell & Bon’s first proposal for the area in 1955 to the opening of the Barbican Centre in 1982.

The print is available to buy exclusively from the Barbican store.
