Barbican: Barbican Centre

Regular price £35.00

Litho print from the range we designed exclusively for the Barbican. Inspired by the brutalist architecture of the Barbican Estate.

Designed by the architects Chamberlin, Powell and Bon and built between 1962 and 1982, the Barbican formed part of a utopian vision to transform and regenerate an area of London left devastated by bombing during World War II.

The Barbican is Europe's largest multi-arts venue and was the final piece of the Barbican estate to be completed. The multi-level complex is a labyrinth of performance halls, theatres, cinema screens and gallery spaces. Described as the City of London’s gift to the nation, the centre was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II in1982.

The range features illustrations of the famous Towers (in blue), Frobisher Crescent (in orange) and the Barbican Centre (in brown). Shop the full collection.
