Bed Peace - Bluecoat Gallery, Liverpool
A digital installation at the Bluecoat Gallery, Liverpool to mark the anniversary of what would have been John Lennon’s 70th birthday and the 30th anniversary of his death in 1980. The project formed part of the city’s season of events paying tribute to Lennon. Members of the public were invited to get on a bed and show their support for peace. We collected 300 images in 2 hours and over 500 people took part.
A film of the installation was screened on 9th December on Ocean’s media screen (Europe’s largest commercial LED screen), opposite Liverpool Lime Street station to coincide with the UK anniversary of Lennon’s death.
