Picasso: Peace and Freedom - Campaign and merchandise for Tate Liverpool

Tate Liverpool's exhibition explored the post-war period of the artist’s life, focusing on the time when Picasso was a member of the French Communist Party and actively involved in politics and the Cold War era peace movement.

Dorothy worked on the launch campaign for the exhibition, designing a bespoke font inspired by the iconic posters of the Paris May ‘68 uprisings, capturing the spirit of post-war social uprisings and protests in Europe. The font was used across all press, outdoor and online advertising and also on exhibition branding. It featured on Picasso merchandise sold in the Tate store, including a Give Picasso a Chance limited edition print designed by Dorothy which is available to buy in our store.
