The story of modern indie gaming is often traced back to the era captured in Indie Game: The Movie, and fittingly, our print begins with three of its defining titles: Braid, Super Meat Boy and Fez. These pioneering games helped ignite a global wave of independent creativity—one that continues to reshape the medium.
The print showcases 42 groundbreaking indie titles that, for one reason or another, became cult classics, critical favourites or cultural touchstones. Spanning genres, art styles, studios and platforms, the collection includes celebrated games such as Journey, Papers, Please, Rust, Stardew Valley, Hollow Knight, Celeste, Among Us, Outer Wilds, Untitled Goose Game, Hades, Disco Elysium – The Final Cut, Vampire Survivors, Balatro and Animal Well.
In keeping with Dorothy’s Stamp Collection of prints, each game has been reimagined as an oversized postage stamp. And each stamp features an abstract illustration inspired by the world, mechanics or narrative of the game, providing plenty of hidden details and easter eggs for players to uncover.
