Along with the rest of Liverpool, two of us from the Studio made our way down to Glastonbury for a long, HOT, and joy-filled weekend. Although the heat this year was (almost) unbearable at times, it didn’t stop the festival’s contagious party energy from spreading to us for five incredible days.

Some of our personal highlights included Neil Young, Pulp, Father John Misty, Parcels, and John Fogerty. And of course, the Bootleg Beatles — while they didn’t quite match the once-in-a-lifetime brilliance of Macca’s headline set in 2022, their performance was unforgettable in its own right. Singing Beatles classics in a field with hundreds of cheerful strangers perfectly captured the magic that Glastonbury makes you feel.
One unexpected and heartwarming moment came when we spotted a fellow festival-goer wearing our Colours of London T-shirt — part of our 2016 collaboration with Tate. It felt really special to see something we made still out in the wild. Thanks for letting us snap a pic

It’s fair to say that The Glastonbury spirit, whatever it is, is hard to let go of once Monday morning rolls around. If only the feeling we experienced for five short days — could be bottled up and carried into everyday life. But maybe it’s the fleeting nature of it all that makes it so special.
Here’s to returning to Worthy Farm in 2027. (With plenty of luck, a little more shade, and just a little less sunburn).
