Luca, a diehard Liverpool fan who’s currently studying his A-Levels, has joined us for work experience this past week. In these past few days, he’s helped us with marketing the new edition of the ‘Print Invasion: Liverpool FC’ print. We interviewed him to gauge his perspective of the club and the overall print itself...
Who is your favourite player on the print and why?
It has to be Stevie G (Gerrard), without a doubt the best captain we’ve seen, living the dream of every scouse lad with the sheer quality and passion to show for it too. I still remember the day he retired - don’t think I've ever cried that much since.

Who’s your favourite new edition on the print?
I think Florian Wirtz is definitely the best new addition on the print, he received a lot of criticism when he first joined, but seeing him finally come to form and prove doubters wrong is very satisfying.
What do you like about the print?
I’m a really big fan of the sleek design of the print. An almost royal feeling curated by the graphological choices really, at least in my opinion, gives the team the respect they deserve.
Favourite memory as a Liverpool fan?
Going to see the redmen lift the EFL cup back in 2022 after a nailbiting 11-10 penalty shootout has to be up there. The pure eruption of wembley after kepa skied his penalty was a feeling i’ll forever chase.
If you could have the skills of any LFC player past or present on the print, who would you pick and why?
Xherdan Shaqiri is an underrated pick. The strength and agility he had was unmatched, and although he struggled to break into the first team, he definitely made an impact.
Are there any players who you think will have a bigger presence on the print come the end of the season?
Joe Gomez has been an elite servant for us, I think this season he could definitely earn a bigger presence on the print as we deal with injuries once again.
Which player was a bit before your time, but you wish you could’ve seen play?
My Grandad tells me stories about the magic of Ian Rush back in the day. The amount of goals he scored and moments he created would’ve been a sight to see, after all, there must be a reason why we still sing about him scoring 4 against the blues.

What have you enjoyed most about promoting the print?
Seeing people’s reactions to the print has made it all that bit more special, if a fellow Liverpudlian is made happy, then promoting the print is less of a ‘task’ and more of a blessing.
